Credit Policy
  1. Our terms are cash on delivery.
  2. For customers who have approved charge accounts, our terms are 30 days from day of delivery. Interest will be charged on all accounts that are past due.
  3. If the account is past due (more than 30 days) no more deliveries will be made until the account is paid in full. A notice of 5 working days will be required for the next delivery or a MINIMUM service call of $150.00 will be charged to your account.
  4. Payment may be made by: Cash, Cheque, Money Order, Internet Banking, Telebanking,Visa, Mastercard or Automatic Bank Debit. We also offer an Equal Payment Plan after one year of service. Please call our office for details.
  5. A $25.00 charge will be applied to all cheques returned for non-sufficient funds or stop payments.
Price Protection Policy

We at Moore Propane are pleased to offer all our customers the option of a fixed or market rate. The fixed rate is a guaranteed rate set in August for the following "heating season". The customer is guaranteed that fixed rate from September 1st thru April 30th of the following year. The market rate fluctuates throughout the heating season.

  1. Once you are on the fixed rate, you stay on the fixed rate unless you notify us between July 1st through Aug 31st.
  2. During summer months (May 1st and August 31st) all types of accounts may fluctuate.
  3. The fixed price changes every September 1st and is locked in until May 31st the following year.

Therefore, your price can be changed from fixed rate to market rate or from market rate to fixed rate between July 1st and August 31st only.

Delivery Policies
At Moore Propane we have three kinds of delivery:
  1. Will Call or Phone In Customers
    1. We require at least five (5) business days notice for delivery. You will be put on the next delivery scheduled for your area.
    2. If you require delivery before the next scheduled day in your area there will be a minimum $150.00 delivery charge.
    3. Minimum delivery of propane is $300.00.
    4. Moore Propane Ltd. does not take any responsibility for damage done to property or persons if propane supply is interrupted for any reason including, but not limited to, regulator freeze up, running out of propane or missed deliveries on Moore Propane's part.
  2. Automatic Delivery Customers
    1. Your propane delivery schedule is based on anticipated or historical consumption patterns.
    2. To ensure uninterrupted propane supply customers must notify their regional Moore Propane office if additional propane appliances have been installed or if propane consumption is likely to change due to changes in lifestyle, productivity or extended business hours.
    3. Failure to notify us of these changes may result in propane supply interruption prior to regularly scheduled delivery.
    4. Moore Propane Ltd. does not take any responsibility for damage done to property or persons if propane supply is interrupted for any reason including, but not limited to, regulator freeze up, running out of propane or missed deliveries on Moore Propane's part.
  3. Calendar Delivery Customers
    1. Your propane delivery schedule is based on anticipated or historical consumption patterns.
    2. To ensure uninterrupted propane supply, customers must notify their regional Moore Propane office if additional appliances have been installed or if propane consumption is likely to change due to changes in lifestyle, productivity or extended business hours.
    3. Failure to notify us of these changes may result in propane supply interruption prior to regularly scheduled delivery.
    4. Moore Propane Ltd. does not take any responsibility for damage done to property or persons if propane supply is interrupted for any reason including, but not limited to, regulator freeze up, running out of propane or missed deliveries on Moore Propane's part.
Generator Policy

Several customers have added generators to their propane tanks without notifying Moore Propane. Your propane delivery schedule is based on anticipated or historical consumption patterns. Moore Propane must be notified of all additional propane appliances or alterations.

Generator usage is impossible to predict, therefore, it is the customer's sole responsibility to manage the propane level in their tank and to give Moore Propane at least seven (7) days notice for delivery. Without the seven days notice propane delivery may be interrupted or a delivery charge may apply.
